There are so many milestones that you celebrate in life. First steps, first words, first tooth, first tooth you lose, driving, drinking, college, marriage, the list goes on and on.... but the one milestone that undeniably "CHANGES YOUR WHOLE LIFE" is the birth of your first child. When this happens, you lose your sleep, your quiet time, your clean house, your mind, and even your privacy in the bathroom. My mother once told me "One day you will become a mom and you'll understand why I miss my privacy in the bathroom." My sister and I both used to sit outside the bathroom door so we could talk to her. We didn't think about the fact that it could've waited 5 minutes. Now I just wish I could have 5 minutes. Eight years ago today.... it doesn't seem possible that it's been that long. Eight years ago today, my whole life changed when my beautiful Harley was born, 21-1/2", weighing in at 6 lbs. 13 oz. Now she is.54", and weighs 78 lbs. My beautiful "Harley Rabbit" turned 8 today and I am so thankful for all the changes that have come with the past 8 years.
We had a party last weekend (and I will post pics and a story about that once I get the pics) but to make "HER DAY" special, we celebrated with waffles for breakfast and lunch with her at school.

And I was right wasn't I? Once you become a mother, you will never know privacy again, even when they grow up. For then, THEY have children and it just keeps going. I mean, after you have given birth, was else is there that sacred and secret? Only a mother understands this. With love,Your mom.
